This year the talented Honda 150 European Championship youngsters will receive support from the LoveMyTraining project, an initiative that already includes some pro-riders from the MXGP and Women’s championships.

Started by Pier Carlo Bottero and Filippo Bellotti, LoveMyTraining encapsulates the desire of these two men to support young athletes and help them become professionals in their sport.

LoveMyTraining aims to offer their supported riders teaching and coaching surrounding all aspects of training, health, nutrition, balance between sport and education, finding sponsors and entering into commercial agreements.

In addition to this, LoveMyTraining will be awarding the top three riders in the 2016 Honda 150 European Championship standings with Apple-branded gifts: a Macbook Air for the Champion, an iPad for the runner-up and an iPhone 6 for the third-placed rider.

The Honda 150 European Championship provides the perfect opportunity for LoveMyTraining to work with the future stars of motocross, as the main aim of the Honda 150 European Championship is to help young riders progress and work their way up the motocross career ladder.

The CRF150R riders are able to hone their racecraft on the same GP tracks as the world motocross riders and, as the only youth championship to race as a support race to MXGP, the 11-14 years are uniquely placed to reap the benefits of the support given by the Honda Racing Family. This has included Gautier Paulin (Team HRC rider), Tim Gajser (2015 MX2 Champion and current MXGP red plate holder) and Jean-Michel Bayle (Team HRC Sporting Manager) taking their turns as trainers at previous training camps.

The Honda 150 European Championship has three rounds left in the 2016 season, with Emil Weckman currently holding the red plate. The next event for the riders will be their mid-season training camp (27 July) before they head to the sand of Lommel for their next race (30-31 July).
